Almost a Year and a World Cup

On Monday we played soccer. It was super fun. We got the district and some members and went to play soccer on a grass field. It was fun, but I am way out of shape. My body is so tired haha, but it was completely worth it. Then we went and bought stuff and got ready to leave. Then we went and worked a little, it was a really nice Pday. Also one elder from my district became the Toby of our district for those of you that have seen the office. So yeah, he told us he knew where a bus stop to get back to our area was, and then we walked in a circle and only found a bus that passed for their apartment, then they got on and ditched. It is a good thing we have the spirit or we would still be lost out there haha.
On Tuesday we had a zone training because our zone has been struggling with numbers and such. It was actually pretty fun because I have made friends with a lot of the missionaries here, so we all got to see eachother for a little bit and then had a training of stuff. It was better than I thought it would be. Really sharing the gospel is just getting other people to try it. It is weird how it works. We all just gotta do what we can and from there every one can just pick the path that makes them happy. Then we went out and we worked. It was fine, we did some contacts and stuff like that. Basically that is just talking to whoever is out there. The rest of the week we tried to do a lot more fun missionary things. We have done lots of contacts and Elder Clark is progressing pretty good. We also found a woman that is really receptive, but we went back and it turns out she does not know how to read. So that was interesting. So I guess we are going to try to teach her and teach her how to read at the same time. It will be interesting. We also recieved a reference of an older woman that is trying to quit smoking. Hopefully she progresses too. We took most of her cigarettes and gave her a blessing to try and help, but it will really depend on her and on God to see where that goes. She is kind of old though. On Sunday we got to eat asado. It is the best. It was also stake conference. The last talk was really interesting. It was a man from the area 70 and he gave his talk to the children of the church about doing the simple things. Basically he was saying that everyone just needs to go to church if they are members, which would be good since there are just a lot of members that are not active. It was a really good talk. I wished that more of the less active or non active members were there, but they are less or non active so.... But it was good. And yeah that is how the mission is going. OH YEAH, also for training, we have to watch all these videos about a few missionaries, and some of them are so hard to take seriously sometimes and the rest of them just make me miss american houses and people and situations. Like most of them do not really apply to our mission, which is the worst part. They should make a south american version about dealing with drunk people and teaching people that cant read and always having a rock in your pocket for the dogs and pulling the sleeve of your shirt over your watch so that no one sees you have a watch. Those would be helpful videos.

Bueno se que la mision a veces es, digamos, diferente. Esta bien porque nosotros podemos hacer lo que queira Dios que hagamos. El nos da la senda, y por eso podemos seguirlo. Les Quiero!!
