The Wedding

This week was really good. We had the wedding of Juan Martin and Maria! They also got baptized!!! We also had a visit from Elder Renlund from the 12 apostles! It was a really good week! It went really fast! It was really great to see all the things that happen! It was really great! I dont have much else to say! I know the church is true. I know we have a living prophet today in the earth. I know that Jesus is our Savior, that He loves us, and helps us in every step. Love you all!!!

Hola todos!!! This week was really busy!!! We had two baptisms this weekend and it was really awesome! I dont have much to say here. Now that we can call the fam all the time, it is going to be hard to write a lot here because of that. But we are seeing lots of miracles and it is awesome. We are working really hard here in Santa Ana and we are baptizing people next week too. One is Javier and a girl named Maia were the people we baptized this week. So it is really great. I guess i could just tell you that perseverance is a really important. When we are patient and we trust in God. He has a plan for us. If we trust in Him. I know He is real and that He loves His children. We also must love His children. That is all i got for this week! Good luck everyone! 

Update this week

Hey Everybody!

So this week was a good week.  We are seeing a lot of miracles so that's good!  It's P-Day in the morning.  Yesterday was awesome.  We had 5 amigos of the church in Sacrament Meeting.  Next week 2 of them will be baptized.  And the week after that we will have 2 more baptisms because those people are getting married which is awesome.  We are looking for some more people to baptize in March too so that is pretty exciting! 

This week we did splits.  I was with an Elder from Rosairo de Lermo.  That's an area here.  It is really far away.  We got lost trying to go there because I had only been there once before.  We ended up taking 5 hours of buses in total that morning.  So that was fun.  It was like a transfer.  We did divisions there which was fine.

The only funny thing this week happened on Sunday.  We went out and were working and trying to visit this one house but these 2 drunk dudes stopped us.  One of them really wanted to talk so we sat down and shared a scripture with them.  He had all these coco leaves in his mouth and they were super drunk and saying funny things but the one was wanting to change.  He kept saying he really wanted to change  and also some really bad words).    We got their address so we will go back and look for them.  In the middle one of them got up and went to the bathroom and the wall and then came back and listened.  We will see what happens.  Maybe they will change?  We'll see.

Other than that we are just working hard.  Next week, there is a girl.  Her name is Mya.  She is 9.  She's one of the member's daughters here.  The member is separated from his wife so she is sometimes here and sometimes not.  But his wife is ok now with her getting baptized.  Also, Javier who is a really cool dude.  He's 18 and all of his family is Christian but his girlfriend is a member of our church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints so he started coming to church and we taught him.  He realized it is true so that's dope.  

And then Martin and Maria are going to get married on the 22nd.  They are from a whole big huge family of like 20 people who all live in the same house on our same street.  That's pretty crazy actually. We are working with them but with them they are pretty much ready already they just have to get married.  So that's exciting!  And then from there we will see if we can get some of their other family members interested.   We had really good Family Home Evening with them that went really well.  It's exciting!

Other than that we are just knocking doors.  Trying to find people.  It's going really good.  We just gotta keep grinding!  That's pretty much how the week has been.  I hope you guys are all having a good time out there in the USA!  And enjoy your carpet and your Dr. Pepper!  Until next week!  

Phantom Dog Bites, Big Dreams, and Tired

Helloo to all! How is everyone? Im good out here in Argentina training another white kid hahaha. Im getting a little old for this though hahaha. It has been a good week though. We are seeing lots of miracles and working pretty hard. I have declared my 3rd war on dogs now because they are starting to try and bite us for no reason. More dog rocks coming your way hahhaa. We also had a zone conference and president put the goal for us all to have one baptism every week... Not sure how that is gonna work out but it will be fine hahahaha. We are expecting some baptisms soon, so get your popcorn ready. I am really learning how to leave things up to God and try to figure out what He wants. When we do that, it goes a lot better in the work. This week i guess we were just supposed to learn a little bit because the last 3 days we just kinda contacted all day in the rain. But yeah it is going all right out here. I could talk to you guys a lot about the work, but at this point for me it all kind of feels the same. It has become like a way of life. I know that what we do when it is guided by the spirit has the power to change lives and help people in ways we cannot fathom. I know God lives and watches over His children and helps all of us all the time. I have also learned that He often brings us help through the people that He puts around us. Dont be afraid to do nice things for people and to follow hunches. It will all work out! I hope you all have a great week! Hasta luego amigos!
