Pday and Transfers on Tuesday

Pday on Tuesday
So fun story, pday was changed for just this week to be on a Tuesday because all of the buses just decided not to work and it is transfers, so that all got crazy and changed. It was a crazy end to a crazy week. Yay disfunctional countries.

So we actually had a lot of stuff to do this week. We had our last district meeting and interviews last tuesday, so that was pretty much tuesday. Then on wednesday we had to go to Salta to do some visa work for my newbie, so that was pretty much wednesday and we got back at like 7 thursday night. That night we also tried to visit Norma to try and ready her for her baptismal interview the next morning, so we went and we practiced that and it went well. Then friday morning we had her interview and she passed and so that was awesome. On saturday she got baptized and she picked me to baptize her so that was cool. So yeah that is honestly all I really remember from this week haha. It was a good week though. This letter will not be very long, there are a lot of things to do today haha. Sorry. Love you all! Good luck!

Almost a Year and a World Cup

On Monday we played soccer. It was super fun. We got the district and some members and went to play soccer on a grass field. It was fun, but I am way out of shape. My body is so tired haha, but it was completely worth it. Then we went and bought stuff and got ready to leave. Then we went and worked a little, it was a really nice Pday. Also one elder from my district became the Toby of our district for those of you that have seen the office. So yeah, he told us he knew where a bus stop to get back to our area was, and then we walked in a circle and only found a bus that passed for their apartment, then they got on and ditched. It is a good thing we have the spirit or we would still be lost out there haha.
On Tuesday we had a zone training because our zone has been struggling with numbers and such. It was actually pretty fun because I have made friends with a lot of the missionaries here, so we all got to see eachother for a little bit and then had a training of stuff. It was better than I thought it would be. Really sharing the gospel is just getting other people to try it. It is weird how it works. We all just gotta do what we can and from there every one can just pick the path that makes them happy. Then we went out and we worked. It was fine, we did some contacts and stuff like that. Basically that is just talking to whoever is out there. The rest of the week we tried to do a lot more fun missionary things. We have done lots of contacts and Elder Clark is progressing pretty good. We also found a woman that is really receptive, but we went back and it turns out she does not know how to read. So that was interesting. So I guess we are going to try to teach her and teach her how to read at the same time. It will be interesting. We also recieved a reference of an older woman that is trying to quit smoking. Hopefully she progresses too. We took most of her cigarettes and gave her a blessing to try and help, but it will really depend on her and on God to see where that goes. She is kind of old though. On Sunday we got to eat asado. It is the best. It was also stake conference. The last talk was really interesting. It was a man from the area 70 and he gave his talk to the children of the church about doing the simple things. Basically he was saying that everyone just needs to go to church if they are members, which would be good since there are just a lot of members that are not active. It was a really good talk. I wished that more of the less active or non active members were there, but they are less or non active so.... But it was good. And yeah that is how the mission is going. OH YEAH, also for training, we have to watch all these videos about a few missionaries, and some of them are so hard to take seriously sometimes and the rest of them just make me miss american houses and people and situations. Like most of them do not really apply to our mission, which is the worst part. They should make a south american version about dealing with drunk people and teaching people that cant read and always having a rock in your pocket for the dogs and pulling the sleeve of your shirt over your watch so that no one sees you have a watch. Those would be helpful videos.

Bueno se que la mision a veces es, digamos, diferente. Esta bien porque nosotros podemos hacer lo que queira Dios que hagamos. El nos da la senda, y por eso podemos seguirlo. Les Quiero!!

Sorry Mama No Tengo Fotos

Well I have not been writing a little bit everyday like I did the last couple times. This week it was really cold. Pretty much we walked around outside in the cold. We did have a little miracle happen, so there is a woman we visit, her name is Norma. With my other companion we always went and visited her and tried to invite her to be baptized and she always said no and that she wanted nothing to do with it really. So we went and my new companion wanted to invite her again. I said ok we will try one more time with her, and if she does not accept we can stop worrying so much about her. So we went and we invited her to be baptized, at first she started trying to throw up every excuse she could think of, all of which we answers for. After a answering every doubt or excuse, she finally said yes. So we are planning her baptism. It will be really cool, especially after how many times she rerjected us before. Other than that, it has just been pretty cold, and we have been trying to visit people who are not home or that do not have a ton of interest. We tried to help a couple of less active members to return to church, but it did not go all that well so far. Maybe later. That has been pretty much the only fuit out here of my single momming in the mission. It is going well, I guess the mission has justs been completely  different than I could have imagined, for good parts and for bad. I guess that is just how it goes in life too.

In life, we really are just trying to perfect ourselves. Well at least in the mission. Sometimes it is really hard for us to keep moving forward and have a lot of motivation to continue. At least I feel that way a lot. But we can always find the little things to bring us back and help us stay on track. That is what it is all about I guess. It is really funny though, if we just let ourselves be guided by God and if we just trust in Him, He will provide. No matter what.

Se que en este tiempo he tenido muchos cambios. No soy ahora quien fui antes. Puedo confiar mucho mas en mi padre celestial, y el me lleva a la felicidad. Disculpe que no tengo mucho para decir esta semana. Proxima vez sera mejor. Les quiero!!!!!!!
