Ay Everybody

ay everybody, so this week we just been doing more work. There are not many more stories to tell this week, it all kind of blends together. We are just trying to help some more people get baptized. We are teaching a couple of people right now. Williams, he is 13 and his sister is a member. Apparently his dad is crazy but we have not met him yet. We are trying to help him learn that this is true. He went to church on Sunday and we think he liked it a lot. He is kind of chango but he is progressing well. Next we have marina who is living with a member and they are going to get married in December and after that she will get baptized. She is really cool too. Also we are teaching a 9 year old named Sebastian and we are just waiting for his uncle to get back from mexico to be able to baptize him. He will also get baptized in December. I am wanting to stay in Mitre to see all of this happen but we have transfers the 8th, so I might not be there since I have been in Mitre for a minute. We will see how it goes. It is all God´s plan so yeah.

God speed until next week !

Make It Rain

Hello familyyyyyy. So this week we ended up having 3 baptisms. So that was pretty cool. My companion sure knows how to chamuyar haha. Apart from that in my district there were also four other baptisms. So we are having quite a lot of success here. It is going pretty well. It was really cool to have all this people make this crazy important decision in their lives and to really see them change. Also it was a crazy busy week.
So we baptized Leo and Betti, Betti is Leo´s wife. Leo had been learning about the church for four years and was usually working on Sunday. Like 4 weeks ago, he got in a crazy motorcycle accident where he almost died. Then he did not have to go to work, so he came to church even though his clavicle was in two pieces. He is pretty tough though because he is just letting it heal naturally, so that is crazy. That day when he crashed, the power also went out in his house. So we made them an orange cake, some weird awesome peruvian thing, and took them flashlights too since they have two daughters. After that, they liked us a lot more hahaha. Leo also went to church with his family the following two sundays and then we told him, hey you could be baptized. Then he was like, ok seems like the time. But then he did not want to get baptized alone so we had to talk to his wife, and she accepted. It was awesome. They are really good people. But i no longer want to ride motorcycles haha. #unetenos #seremosunacarne
Then we also baptized a kid who is named Rodrigo. His aunts are members and he wanted to be baptized since the beginning of this year, but we did not find him until like a month ago. Then he went to church once. Then we got serious about teaching him and got all of it taken care of for him to be baptized. It was a really good one too.
With Rodrigo, another kid named Thiago got baptized. He was also pretty much our baptism since we found him and his inactive family, got them to church, and helped teach, but he lives in the areas of the assistants, but it is ok. It was great to be able to help that family return to church. They out of the blue one time gave us lunch, and then from there we tried to help them in all the ways we could. They are a really great family. His dad was able to baptize him as well.
I also got to do lots of baptism interviews this week, and that was really cool as well. One was with a kid named Emanuel that was having problems with drugs and stuff, but was turning it all around. It was a pretty spiritual interview, and i am glad to say that he could be baptized on Saturday in Guemes. I was happy for him, even though he was not someone i taught, I was glad to see the gospel work in people´s lives.
Well, things are going pretty well here, although now we need to look for some more people hahaha. But it is going good. I really like Mitre, and it has mountains so it doesn´t feel far from home, feels kind of like if the city pueblo in Colorado was mixed with Utah. So it is pretty cool. I am learning lots of things, as always, since that is the way of the mission. I was really happy to see all of these people progress and join the ranks of our Lord. Hopefully we all stick with it. Life is hard and it only gets harder, but if we stick with God, we can make it through anything. I have seen it time and time again and know it to be true. Sometimes we just aren´t humble enough, or we are afraid of something, or we are just being dumb, but if we turn back to God, He will always help, and He will always let us in. I pray that we can all continue on the path to a better tomorrow and a better today just by following Jesus´s words ¨Love one another.¨ May we all reach out during this almost Christmasy time and touch other people´s lives as our Savior would do. I promise that as we do this, we will help others, and also ourselves to grow and be better human beings and have stronger testimonies. I love my Savior. I am grateful for Him. I am grateful that He accepts me unconditionally. I know He lives. I know He loves us. I know He awaits, and this I testify in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Also shout out to Mdizzle the now Elder Gueller 2 who be killing it in Mexico. Good luck bro

A lot of working and raining

This week was good, we had a baptism and it went well. I dont really have much else to say, it has just been a lot of working and raining and working and not enough sleeping. All i really know is that God has a plan for all of us. He loves us. WE are all His children. That is why we receive so many blessings and so much help when we have problems. If we trust in Him, everything will always work out.

Well i hope you all have a good week. The funniest parts of this week were when we were biking and my pedal came off, when we had to go to the church to fill up the baptism font and then there was no water in the church, and i think that is all.

Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!!!!

A Good Week

This was a pretty good week.  We had some success with some of the people we are working with which is really cool.  We have this person and his name is Leo.  He is really cool.  He has been learning about the church for 4 years.  He has been learning for a long time and is a really good guy.  He is married which is impossible to find here.  He has always wanted to go to church and be baptized because he works on Sundays.  But this week on Wednesday he went somewhere with his nephew and he was driving on the highway with his motorcycle.  Some kids were driving a motorcycle without lights and he got in a crash and did a front flip.  He landed on his back.  He broke some ribs and his clavicle and it could have been a lot worse because he could have died but he is ok.  So he is thinking about God a lot more and this Sunday he went to church.  It was really cool.  He liked it a lot and so did his wife and his daughter.  He wants to get baptized in December.

Right now all of our people want to get baptized in December.  I don’t know why.  One has to get married.  One is waiting for his uncle to return from the mission to baptize him.  He is a nine year old kid.  We are also working a lot with Leo.

We have bikes in my area.  So that is fun.  We drive around a lot and do a lot of things.  It is nice to be able to teach more lessons because we have bikes.  We are also teaching this guy Alberto.  He is really old.  He is married.  His wife is a member and his daughter also.  They are working with him to reach his baptism but he doesn’t want to get baptized because he is old and his heart his hard.  He wants answers.  We are working with him.  His daughter is 8 years old and she had to teach her father to pray.

It is not that exciting because we are not having baptisms but we are working hard and learning a lot of things.  My companion likes to cook a lot of things.  I love you guys.  I am grateful you are doing well. I think of you all a lot and I miss you a ton.  I love you and I hope you have a good week.
