El Ultimo Testimonio

Well guys I wanted to send one last email out to all of you that have been there since day one, i know i have not been writing as much as before, but hey no big deal. I cannot begin to explain how grateful i am for the blessings that i have received during the mission. Heavenly Father has blessed me so much during these last 2 years. Apart from being called to Argentina, which was a always a dream of mine, I have had a wonderful experience over the past two years. It has been incredible. I have learned so many things. There are many things that i have learned and the most important one i can share with all of you is that God lives. He loves us. He has a plan for all us and every single one of us. When we live His commandments, we can receive His blessings and be happier and better people. When we really choose to follow God, He will bless us, and we will be happy. I know this with all of my heart and I know that this happiness is achievable for all of us. It is a joy that we can always have. I am sad to leave my new home, but i am happy to start my new life. I have missed you all and will see you all soon!

Con cariño,
Elder Gueller

Started in Jujuy Now We Here

Well we just had transfers and now I am in an area called Belgrano in the province of Jujuy. My new companion is Elder Lopez and he is from.... plot twist... Utah hahaha you all thought he was latino didnt you? But it is going to be a blast.

Meanwhile there in Santa Ana, we had two progressing people. Emilse and then also we found Soledad. Soledad was a referral from a member and we had one of the most spiritual lessons of my mission with her. I had never felt so strongly the love of God for anyone more than in that lesson. I know that the Spirit was there. I dont remember much of what we said, but I know that God was using us as His instruments to help her. It was a very special lesson. She will definitely be baptized soon. So I will send those pictures when i have them.

Anyways good luck everyone! Enjoy life! Share the gospel!

weekly bizness

So it has been another week here in the MAS and we are still just working. Emilse came to church again and is reading a ton of the Book of Mormon. So that is going well. Other than that we are just working and working. It is good. That is about all the progress that we have here. Not all much more to say. There are transfers in 2 weeks. So we will see where we are going to finish up the adventure. Not sure how that will go. It will be fun. I also have started my plan, so that is something. I guess it really coming to a close out here. But we are just going to keep trying and giving it all we got.

Starlog 456, Day...

Starlog 456, Day…Ah I am not sure exactly what day of the mission it is.

It’s p-day again. This was another week.  It was super long for lots of reasons.  Tuesday we had to do some things in the morning and then we worked.  And then it was Wednesday and we had to go do immigration papers for my companion because he is new and then you guessed it, we worked!  And then on Thursday, in the morning, we had a conference with Elder Bragg.  It was ok.  It was basically a recap of the conference we had with Elder Renlund.  He said all the same things again and even used some of the same stories.

We worked a little bit after that which was cool because we got a reference for someone’s cousin in our ward called Emilse.  She is somehow related to the wife of our mission leader.  She had a second coming dream.  Our mission leader then sent her a very specific set of 3 scriptures in 2 Nephi that explained exactly what her dream was.  So then she wanted to talk to missionaries.  So that was cool.  I don’t think there are a lot of stories like that in the world. (“Why did you get baptized?”  “I had a second coming dream.”)  We are teaching her right now.   It is kind of complicated but she already read 10 chapters of the Book of Mormon.  It is kind of hard for her to pray for some reason but we are working on it.  She came to church and she accepted a baptismal date.  In the first lesson she asked if she could be baptized twice.  Our mission leader explained that kids don’t need to be baptized because they don’t have sins so she needed to be baptized by proper authority.  She will probably get baptized but I don’t know if she will get baptized while I am still here or after.

The other cool thing that happened this week was we had a Family Home Evening with members and they actually brought people that weren’t members!  Maybe the first time in the whole mission that has actually happened to me.  So that was really cool!  They had 3 friends there.  None of them actually live in our area but we taught them about the Prodigal Son and the Book of Mormon!

We also finally learned how to drain the Baptismal font in our building!  Someone finally decided to teach me now that I will be here for 3 more weeks!;)  At least I don’t have to tape another sifter to the end of a wooden stick and dig the dead moths out of the baptism font!

That is pretty much everything that has happened this week!  Today is p-day and we are going to go to a museum.  See you all soon!  Love you all!

Weeky Week

Well this week was another good one. We are not having a ton of success right now... People dont like to go to church sometimes. It is ok. We are just working really hard and leaving it all on the table. So yeah that is what we are up to down here. We are having lots of fun street encounters with our street friends that love us so it is ok. We are just working a lot. And yup.

Working

Whats up friends. Not much excitement this week. A missionary just returned to our ward and it got me kind of trunky hahaha. Oh well. We are just working hard and looking for new people. Life is just like that sometimes. And that is pretty much all we are up to now. Love you all!

hey so these are pictures of Florencia that we baptized in Santiago like a year ago. They just got sealed as a family in the temple! Woo! (They went to the temple in Uruguay which is why I wasn't there!)
