Surprises Part 2

Monday
Well we cleaned the apartment. Then we went out to work. Later, we met up with other elders because president and the assistants really needed to talk to us. I was worried that something bad had happened at home. So then I got to talk with president. Turns out one of the people that was training was having a really hard time, so they needed to do an emerency transfer to fix. He asked me if I would be willing to do that. I guess I did not really consider it a question and I said yeah. So we had transfers a week after transfers. So Campbell and I went back to the apartment and we packed up and cleaned a little more and we tried to wrap our minds around all the changes that president had just made to accomodate everyone. It was a pretty crazy night. I guess you are just never ready for life, but it keeps going no matter where you are at.
Tuesday
So we had to take all of Campbells stuff to the other apartment, so we did that in the morning. Then we had district meeting. I asked the zone leaders to do it because I was feeling kind of stressed out. So that was nice of them to help. Then we went to the terminal and I got my new companion. He is Elder Clark. He has been in the field for one week. He is from Montana, and he really speaks Spanish well and loves the mission. So we went and worked and did all that stuff. It went pretty well. It is just a never ending rollercoaster. And I am definitely turning into one of those people who just likes to see the extreme of what I can talk other people into to doing and that is how I got the 4 of us missionaries who were coming back from the terminal to cram into the back of a tiny little argentine taxi. That was funny.
Wednesday
It was not the most eventful day. It was a good one though. While I will admit that training is stressful, it is really helping me to like the mission more. So this day, we got kind of lost trying to find a house and that was rough. So we did a couple contancts and then we visited a less active member that is like a 16 year old girl with health problems, so we gave her a blessing and that was cool. Then we had lunch with the Juarez family. Jose Juarez has been waiting like a year to get baptized and it is all finishing up and so that will be great when he finishes up. Also we later visited our convert Graciela. And later we had ward council. It is nice to be in a high functioning ward again haha.
Thursday
Today was nice too. We planned for the week. Classic thursday in the mish. So that was the morning and then we went to lunch. Then we went back and did some more studying and training. Then we went out and spread the gospel. It was pretty good. We are not having a ton of rapid progress, but I think we will start having more of that. Elder Clark is already super good at spanish and really excited about the mission. Also he has seen lots of the same movies and shows that I have, so that helps a lot.
Friday
We had an activity in the church. It was Locro Day. I hope to have a picture of it so you all can know what I have put in my body for the last year. I am still yet to know what all exactly is put in there. I do not even like it haha. So it was a really fun activity, there was soccer and ping pong and food and all sorts of teenagers playing on their phones who later joined in doing fun real life things. It was really great. We played many argentine games, and as I am sure you can imagine, some of them did not make sense. They were still fun. Then we worked a little and found some people who I am really hoping will progress. We will see.
Saturday
In the morning we fought against scary argentine death thorn plants to do service for a sister here. I never knew that lemon trees would want to hurt me. So we pruned that stuff for like 2 hours. It was nice to do life things for awhile. Then the sister made us hot chocolate and like a banana bread type food thing that was really good. It was the best breakfast I have had in Argentina. Then we taught some people and ate lunch and taught more people. Then we ate a delicious sandwich. It was a nice day.
Sunday
It was peaceful. Not really any crazy stories to share. We just went and visited less active members and stuff like that. It was a nice end to a rather wild chain of events. It has been good though.

So yeah these have probably been 2 of the craziest weeks ever and I am ready for a less crazy week. We will see. We are working hard and getting better every day so we will see where that gets us. Entonces se que la vida tiene muchas sorpresas para nosotros pero se que también Dios sabe lo que esta haciendo y que el tiene un gran propósito para nosotros. Se que podremos hacer lo que Dios quiere que hagamos, ni importa lo que sea.

So yup that is this week. Love you guys!!
