McDonalds!

Hey everybody! This week was my last week in Monterrico, and that is a pretty good thing because I was getting tired of that place. It was a tough area. But I did get to baptize two little kids. One was an investigator of the sisters in our district and she wanted the white dude to baptize her and the other was a little 8 year old of the branch who´s family is less active so he also picked me to baptize him. Elder Garcia also got to baptize a little girl in our branch who also has a less active family! So we grew the branch and the church. It was an awesome service, the only thing was, I might have forgotten to bring an extra pair of G´s for after the watery parts of baptizing. So I had to go commando for the rest of the baptism service. That was interesting. I am not planning on doing that again haha! So yeah that was a good day. Exciting. I made a recording about the rest of the week.
Another experience to share would be the last Monday we had, were we had a district meeting and all the sisters asked for blessing. Two of them asked me and two of them asked Garcia. So we gave some blessings and it was really powerful. The priesthood is real. I know that, cause I am not fluent in Spanish, and after the blessings, the sisters told me that I basically spoke fluently. So yeah, that could not be me. Super great experience.
And that brings us to Sunday in the night, when we had transfers. I had already packed mostly because president told me that I would be leaving like two weeks ago. So we got the call, and found out that I was going to Tucuman!!! Exciting. But we did not find out who would be my companion or what area I was going to... But I at least got the bus ticket and time. So today in the morning, me and Garcia went to the terminal and I got on this bus by myself in the middle of Argentina to get off somewhere I had never been before and to hopefully find people waiting there for me. The bus ride was about 7 hours long because we got stopped on the border of the provinces for control. So we all got off the bus with all our stuff, I had 3 things of luggage, and we waited in line for the policeish people to like open all our bags on stuff. I got kind of lucky because there was a worker there who spoke English, not super well, but enough to want to be my friend. So he was talking to me a lot, and like pretended to half check my bags. So that was nice. Then I got to the terminal and there were people waiting for me, so that was good. My new area is super awesome! It has a McDonalds super close to the apartment and it literally feels like America after where I was before. Also my new comp is Elder McDonald. He is a white dude, but we are getting along pretty well. I think it is going to be a good transfer!
Se que el sacerdocio de Dios es real. Estoy agradecido que tenemos esta bendicion en nuestras vidas. El poder de Dios siempre esta con nosotros para que podamos ayudar los demas! Les Amo! Tengan une buena semana!
